Who we are

ClipAssistent is a browser extension made by ShortsPilot. It connects your YouTube account to your ShortsPilot workspace so your automation jobs stay connected and do not lose access mid-run.

What we access

ClipAssistent accesses a limited set of YouTube session tokens from your browser. These tokens tell us one thing: whether your YouTube connection is still active.

We access only the following, from .youtube.com:

• Your YouTube session tokens (used to verify your connection is live)

We do not access, read, or store:

• Your YouTube videos, history, or watch data
• Your YouTube channel content or comments
• Any Google account data outside of YouTube
• Any personal information such as your name, email address, or profile

Why we access it

ShortsPilot runs automation jobs on your behalf. For those jobs to work without interruption, we need to know that your YouTube connection is still valid. ClipAssistent checks this periodically and refreshes the connection when needed — so your jobs never stop unexpectedly due to an expired session.

What we do with it

Your YouTube session tokens are transmitted securely over HTTPS to ShortsPilot servers and stored solely to maintain an active connection for your automation jobs. They are:

• Never sold or shared with any third party
• Never used for advertising or profiling
• Never used for any purpose other than keeping your ShortsPilot connection alive
• Deleted immediately when you disconnect the extension

How long we store it

Session tokens are stored only as long as your ShortsPilot account is active and the extension is connected. You can delete them at any time by disconnecting the extension or from your ShortsPilot account settings.

Your rights

You can:

• Disconnect the extension at any time from the popup or from ShortsPilot settings
• Request deletion of all stored connection data by emailing privacy@shortspilot.pro
• Revoke YouTube account access at any time via your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Session tokens are stored on secured ShortsPilot servers and are accessible only to your account. We do not log or inspect the content of your tokens beyond confirming they are valid.
